Kuroshitsuji 20 Day Challenge: 2. Your least favorite character While Alois Trancy was very much up there, I found that I actually do have a good deal of sympathy for him and I understand his neurotic behavior and deluded mind stemmed from the abuse and trauma he experience. Elizabeth on the other hand- I simply dislike her. It’s not that she’s crude or evil, like Alois (which is why I dislike him to a degree), but she’s just so irritating. So excessively loud and imposing. I simply don’t like her selfish, out of line behavior- I consider her spoiled and a tad obnoxious, even if she is just thirteen years old. What bugs me most is her being paired with Ciel. If she was more head-strong, more independent and cool, like her mother, then I would have no distaste for her. But her behavior is so co-dependant I can’t very much respect it. I like female characters who are strong and don’t rely on being the damsel in distress, who are intellectually skilled or have strong conduct. Elizabeth doesn’t have any of these traits, to me, which is why I can’t appreciate her character.  Gotta admit, though, this picture of her and Ciel is very cute. Elizabeth, speaking strictly in terms of aesthetics, has her cute moments.
