Lara Pulver at the 2013 Olivier Awards — April 28th, 2013.

Happy Birthday, Lara Pulver! (01/09/1980)

Since January 1st 2012 (the first airing of A Scandal in Belgravia) Lara has rapidly become my favorite actress. I don’t care what people say: she made a terrific Irene Adler, and I’m going to stick to that opinion forever because she fucking nailed and understood that character. She’s one of those people of whom I’d say that I want to be like when I grow up, and I mean someone who loves her job and is extremely grateful for all the chances she gets. And yes, this is sounds terribly cliche, but she’s a constant source of inspiration for me, and I happen to know that I’m not the only one. Oh, and believe me, if you haven’t seen her twitter you’re missing out: she’s witty and at times deadly hilarious. And you don’t just ask Lara Pulver to take a picture with her, she asks you. She’s just one petite pocket figure of talented awesomeness, and one that I admire a lot.
So, Lara, thank you for being awesome - from the bottom of my heart.
