Kuroshitsuji Challenge: Day 19. Your thoughts on the ending of season 2.
(Haven’t done this “20-day” challenge in forever”) I thought this picture would be the most appropriate to showcase the ending of season 2. I actually really, really hated the ending of season 2. I didn’t like the ending for the first much because it saddened me, but it was much more fitting than the second season’s ending. The entire attitude that Ciel adapted was so irritating to me, and completely unnecessary- you’re gonna tell me that Sebastian spent years with you for absolutely nothing? Worser still, you’re going to act like the biggest jerk in the world and rub it in his face? Granted, he did want to devour your soul. But even so, there were instances in which he did things out of care for your well-being (hence, the last two episodes of season 1).
I can’t say I love the anime all that much because of the changes in the storyline. Otherwise, the animation and artwork is wonderful and enjoyable. But when the anime went askew from what Yana Toboso has been doing in her work, I find that the story’s quality begins to diminish a tad.

Alot of people liked the Kuro-related posts I spammed last night, so because I noticed some of my new followers are fans of the show, I think I’ll post some more.
To all my followers who don’t like anime/manga, please excuse me. -smile-

I’m suddenly overcome by the craving to read some Kuroshitsuji right now. Why must I have to wait until next month? Why?!

Kuroshitsuji Challenge: 17. Favorite Voice
I love Sebastian’s voice. I love hearing the character songs sung by Daisuke Ono, his voice actor in japanese, I adore J. Michael Tatum’s voice in the english version and even in the musical, Sebastian’s voice was great! Yuya Matsushita is a very wonderful singer~
Anyways, the point is I thought all the casted choices for Sebastian were great. They definitely vary between the english adaption, the japanese original and the musical but I feel they all are very interesting takes on what voice he would have, and they all have a certain attractiveness in their own right. (Besides, I kinda go crazy over English accents.)
Kuroshitsuji Challenge: 16. Favorite Fanart
Favorite fan art? I simply can’t pick! I draw fan art all the time and find it’s a perfectly good exercise to draw and show your appreciation for a character, so I love looking at fan art online. So, instead of a single drawing, I’ll include a couple of my person favorites into a slide show. That’s good enough, right? I hope you enjoy them! :)

Kuroshitsuji Challenge 15: Character you would cosplay as
I guess, if I ever were to cosplay, I’d cosplay as Ciel or Elizabeth? Granted, I don’t like Elizabeth much. And Ciel often wears cuter clothing(?!). Hurm, probably as a girlish-Ciel. Haha, what really is driving me is the cuteness behind Ciel’s dress. He always wears such fashionable, eloquent Victorian attire and while it befits his boyishness, it’s also very much a cute type of dress. I admire Yana’s ability to make such intricate and unique designs throughout the manga, and it disappoints me that the anime failed to stay constant to Yana Toboso’s decision to never let Ciel wear the same outfit twice. Fifty-something chapters and not a single repeated attire. How wonderful~ -sigh-

Oh snaps, things are getting good in the zombie infested Titanic of Kuroshitsuji. Man, as if Yana Toboso isn’t bad enough at teasing her fans, now even the scanlators are messing with my mind, posting up teasers. I’m really eager to get the next chapter in a few hours- I want to see why exactly Elizabeth is going to say something along the lines of “I really wanted to stay cute for you until the very end.”
Hurm. I almost wouldn’t mind Lizzy dying, to be honest. Now, before you maul me, reader, it’s simply because I dislike her excessive hyperactivity and her inability to act mature or independent. She has no backbone, which I dislike in one of the only females of Kuro. But at the same time, if Lizzy died Ciel would be horrified. Hmm, I don’t think he loves her as a boy would a girl, nor a man to a woman, but as a sister or dear friend. Her death would destroy him.
Alas! No more speculation! I shall receive the next scanlation in an hour or so! :D

Kuroshitsuji Challenge: 10. Do you read the manga?
Heck yes, I read the manga! I rarely enjoy an anime more than I do a manga, and I tend to find that the manga are always better. With Kuro, I feel this is especially true: I think Yana Toboso’s series is much darker and more interesting in the manga than the anime, though the anime has amazing strong points. Of course, an animated, talking, moving Sebastian is just too much -lovelorn sigh- But yes, I really enjoy the manga, I read it online when Toboso releases new chapters and I collect them when they become translated in America! So far, my favorite arcs have been the Noah’s Ark Circus and, as you can see from above, the current ark: Sherlock Holmes, mystery murders, new shinigami and zombies? Too good, too good!~

Kuroshitsuji Challenge: 4. Character you are most like
To be perfectly honest, I think I’m most like Soma. It’s not something that makes me very proud, haha! It’s simply because Soma is very optimistic and vibrant. He’s spoiled and selfish, but it’s his loving and friendly nature is something I connect with. Beneath all the silliness and trifles, Soma is eager to treat others with kindness, puts his friendships with Ciel and Agni above all else, which is something I feel I can see in myself. On a more negative note, Soma is rather irresponsible and very air-headed which is something I (sadly) can’t say I’m exempt of being.

Kuroshitsuji Challenge: 3. Your favorite pairing
It was hard finding a picture with all four of these characters, but here they are: Ran Mao, Lau, Ciel and Sebastian. I find Ran Mao and Lau very cute, though they’re both very enigmatic and their characters are not very delved into just yet. I would love to know how their bond formed and why Ran Mao is so clingy on Lau, or why he is so affectionate towards her.
Regarding Sebastian and Ciel, like I said before, I love their dynamic bond. The sarcasm, the cynic comments but the more gentle moments, too. It’s very interesting to take note of. Though, I don’t promote Shota at all, I like their bond (and by this, I say so on a platonic note, as two individuals who make up a pair of individuals, get me?)
