but i could see for miles, miles, miles

but imagine all the people who looked up at the sky or through the window and wished on this sudden rush of shooting stars before they realized- maybe just some of them, the ones who were by the bodies of water, the ones who realized those stars were falling too close to earth- that those were people

and of course they’d be wrong. Technically.

Castiel saw it. Maybe some did, too, but there’s always that human rationality that says ‘no, I must’ve been dazed by the brightness. I was seeing things.’

But of course he can’t deny it. And he won’t, even if it’d be easier to. Because the way the wings just broke apart behind them, melting into the bright smoke, leaving weak bodies to echo down and crash without aid-

well, some things hurt but they deserve to be remembered.

all hail the king

all hail the king

uhm, guys, where is this whole “Cas was crying” thing coming from? Because the scene with the falling angles didn’t strike me that Castiel/Misha was crying- obviously, he looked upset, but I didn’t see tears. Did i misperceive?
